Design Intention
The brief for this project was to augment an Audi A7 Sportback in some way that enhanced its function.
A significant constraint of the brief was that no modification of the vehicle was permitted; the augmentation must be an add-on.
The project was extensive and our team exploited just about every design and manufacturing process available.

The entire unit fits in place on the rear centre seat.

Each passenger has their own storage compartment.
The design features an illuminated partition and cup holders as well as two Qi chargers contained within the phone holing pockets.
3D scanning, 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC machining, sandblasting, upholstering, lots of glueing and stapling went into the prototype!

The dividing partion creates zones of privacy without isolation.
