Design Intention
This project is about sustainability. More specifically its aim is to take a domestic waste stream and make something desirable from it.
Plastic waste is one of the great problems of our time. Using polyethylene shopping bags as a building material source would contribute to addressing that problem.
The major challenge with recycling waste material is in producing something that is attractive in its own right.
